Admitting Procedures


A. Direct Admission

Step 1. The patient presents his/her doctor’s order to the Admitting Section.

Step 2. The patient will choose his/her desired room accommodation.

Step 3. Once the availability of the room is confirmed, the patient reads, understands, fill outs, and/or signs the following forms to be given by the Admitting Clerk:

Step 4. The patient and/or relatives shortly wait until the room is ready for occupancy.

Step 5. Once room is ready, Patient Care Personnel and/or Admitting Clerk transfers and endorses the patient to the station.

 

B. Emergency Room Admission

Step 1. The relative presents the ER Admission Sheet of the patient to the Admitting Section.

Step 2. The patient will choose his/her desired room accommodation.

Step 3. Once the availability of the room is confirmed, the patient reads, understands, fill outs, and/or signs the following forms to be given by the Admitting Clerk:

Step 4. The relative returns to the Emergency Room and shortly waits until the room is ready for occupancy.

Step 5. Once room is ready, Patient Care Personnel and/or Admitting Clerk transfers and endorses the patient to the station.
